I'll be headed over to Seattle this coming weekend for some time with new and old friends. If you have happened upon this site in the past and want to meet up for a beer or coffee or just to say hi, and you are in the Seattle area, let me know. I've updated some events on the calendar. July 16th-21st is Lazy Bear weekend, Russian River CA for those of a hairy ilk. August 29-September 1st is the Bumbershoot music festival in Seattle. September 11th-14th is Kevin and Tracy's Pendleton Round-Up party, not to be missed if you like the rodeo, cowboys, dancin' and just good fun. I'll be going to all these events so let us know if you want to meet up. Well, here it is almost May Day and the weather here in the inland North West can't seem to make up it's mind (as usual). Not much to report for The NorthWest Posse. I know that it takes someone (me in this case) to really keep the ball rolling and give this site direction. It would help if I could find like minded guys who are closer than a 4 hour drive away. It would also help if I would PLAN more stuff. So here goes the first event plan of the summer: Lazy Bear! July 16th-21st 2003. I know some people are tired of "the whole 'bear' thing", well I'm not saying that I want more labels or subcultures of the one we already see to fall into. I just want to go have some fun and make new friends. Some friends here and in Seattle have invited me along, so along I'll go. I had a great time at "Spring Thaw" in Seattle a couple weeks ago, so why not? Consider this the official invite from the NorthWest Posse. Well, I've started my northward journey. I spent the last few days at Dusty's in Half Moon Bay and got to hang out with him and Wolf. It was good to see them after a whole year. Yesterday I come here to Alan's ranch and we met up with Steve from Elk Grove. Tomorrow it's off to Portland and then after that I get back into Spokane and get the dog outta hock. Pictures and what-not to follow.

Well, with New Years coming up and my usual January vacation, I'm planning on heading south to California. I want to spend New Years somewhere bigger than here. I plan on visiting Berkeley and Sacramento, maybe Lake Tahoe. Hope to see many old buddies while I'm there.
