See you next year!

Originally, I was thinking of writing something clever and interesting to summarize my thoughts/feelings of how events of the past year gave me a different perspective on life. Instead you'll have to be satisfied with just one inane paragraph. Remember the old theatrical saying of, "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy!" Well, with no intention I've become "Jack". At least temporarily. And if my plans for a new career direction come to fruition next year, I'll be back to living the life of a college student. Besides accepting some regretable jobs in my past, I found the world marches to a competitive beat. A beat I've found that no-longer accepts the outdated cadence of my two B.S. degrees. Honestly, I'm not relishing 2 years of intense study, but I'm not the only one that has made a sacrifice. Unlike so many I know or have talked to going "back to school", I can't complain. My life is simple...No SUV payments, mortgage, kids, endless social functions to attend only out of obligation more than interest etc. etc. Sometimes I don't understand how others manage such seemingly unnecessary complex lives. I don't have to schedule the mundane domestic tasks of life. I just do them when needed or when I feel like it: Didn't get the laundry done today, no big deal! Shopping etc., can wait! I have only myself to please! Setting-up this site was an experiment. Some of you who regularly read said you like it. Others I'm not so sure about...unless you leave comments! And my life isn't so important that I necessarily feel so many will want to take the effort to find out what's going on. If anything, I can write to please myself. To all, the best in the New Year!
