Since my last entry, life has been mostly on cruise-control! The respite I had after New Years made me realize more and more; "I got to do something else career-wise". Many of you who know me well, this will be no surprise! And I've known for quite awhile now, that I'm NOT the type that feels one career is suitable for a lifetime. I do have a hard time understanding how many keep trudging away and being so unhappy.(I'm trying to avoid being one of "those") Yes, the realities say you have to work, and I'm no different, but values change. So, it's time for me to make a change. In short, I've been VERY disappointed at how America does business. Phrases such as "bottom-line" etc. etc. are so prosaic now, it means little. America as a whole, is very near-sighted...of course, my opinion!

And as I was doing my accounting at work last night, the calendar reminded me that I have an extra day this month! WOW, and a friend of mine is turning 10! Yes, 10! Born on leap-day 1964, a long-lost friend was born a twin...what are the odds that twins would be born on a leap year and on leap day! Happy Birthday!(and to your Sis too).

The only other notable goings-on is that I've been trying to get a mortgage. If all goes well, by Fall of this year, I MIGHT be a homeowner. I feel it's time, but with school looming as a possibility, I might be working and going to school, as I've mentioned in another posting. So, this ends Feb. '04!
