The NorthWest Posse<br/>The Home Of A Bunch Of Guys Who Just Don't Fit 'The Stereotype'<br>
Posses Nationwide

From the group of friends mostly in Northern California "The Posse" was formed. Now, other Posses are springin' up around the country. Posse-folk have no leaders, no bylaws, and no organization. Whut keeps us together is our friendship, and we are committed to extend that to all folks who, like us, are just finding out that there are normal guys out there who don't fit the stereotype. Consider this your invitation to contact the posse nearest you. All the folks listed have volunteered and are committed to show folks the sorta help and friendship we all wished we had afore we found our posse.

The Appalachian Posse

The Appalachian Posse has been going strong for a few years now. Ben keeps the ball rolling and the group has quite a few activities that they participate in. For now, we are mostly centered around the Blacksburg, VA area.

We refuse to ascribe to the stereotypical gay image and are looking for friends who feel and act the same. Our plans are for rodeos, hockey games in Roanoke, hiking, antique auctions, a trip to Gatlinburg to stay in Tim’s condo, car shows, working on Gino and Kenny’s house, and to have lots of fun, friendship, and fellowship. Not out? That’s OK. We’ll look after you and respect your privacy. Trust me, you can’t do it by yourself. So, give us a mail. The App. Posse would be glad to have ya!! American by birth. Southern by the grace of God! To contact the Appalachian Posse, view the Official Appalachian Posse

The Far West Posse

The grandaddy of all posses, our members are mainly in Northern California, but we have folks from Yreka all the way down to San Diego. We have a full schedule, and get together often, sometimes at a rodeo, sometimes to help out on a bud's ranch, or just for a coupla brewskies at a local watering hole. These are the folks you'll see most often in the newspage archives. To hook up with the Far West Posse, email Wolf at: RuffStock@crotalus.com or take a look at the Official Far West Posse Site .

The Great Divide Posse

Montana and Idaho are as cowboy as you can get, and this posse proves it. Kevin is the coordinator here, a real buckaroo's buckaroo. They're looking forward to hearing from their neighbors and posse buds across the country. Check out their website at http://members.aol.com/~saddleupbud/ . Or drop Kevin an email at IDGLCowboy@aol.com .

The Great Lakes Posse

This small group of hardy guys are yer typical upper midwesterners. Camping, from rough to RVing, horses, football are all things that interest these guys, but mostly they're about bein' just who ya are. Find out more about the Great Lakes Posse from Tom at: micntry@btc-bci.com , or view the Official Great Lakes Posse Site .

Anybody interested in getting together to ride or rodeo or just meet with some friendly guys drop a note. Let's get something started in the area. Come on, we know you're out there somewhere. We're looking forward to hearing from you. For more information on the Kansas Posse, email Steve at: kansasposse@yahoo.com or check their website at: http://www.geocities.com/kansasposse .

The Mid-South Posse

The Mid-South Posse is a group of guys best described as good ole boys! We are all clean cut hard working guys that don't mind getting a little dirt under our finger nails. For us its just business as usual and life goes on, just as it would if we were not gay. If your a little rough around the edges, that's all the better. If you don't mind a little chaw juice, you'll fit right in. The Mid-South Posse's Website is at http://www.geocities.com/midsouthposse/index.htm

The New England Posse

Newly formed and small (for now), this posse has a core of real enthusiastic guys. If you're anywheres in the New England area, drop them a line at neposse@hotmail.com . Or check out their website at http://community-2.webtv.net/neposse/THENEWENGLANDPOSSE/ .

The North Sierra Posse
The brand-new North Sierra Posse covers cover the Sierra mountains east to eastern Nevada state line and to Salt lake, making travel easer for those in the high plains..........maybe helping out the mountain posse too. With all the cowboys and great rodeo in Nevada and thereabouts, we're gonna be lookin' forward to having posse buds there. To learn more about the North Sierra Posse, contact Mark at Truckee775@aol.com or view their website at http://northsierraposse.tripod.com .

The Oregon Posse

The Oregon Posse is newly formed, and will probably have some overlap with the Northwest Posse, but if you're in the area, drop Ray a note! The Posse website is up at http://msnhomepages.talkcity.com:6010/RallyRd/oregonposse/index.htm and can be emailed at: Wrang501@aol.com .

The Rocky Mountain Posse

. . . a circle of heartfelt cowboy and country friends with common interests, values and rural country spirit. Colorado & Wyoming The Rocky Mountain Posse's website is at http://members.tripod.com/rockymtnposse/index.html

The Texas Posses

Because of the size of the state, the Texas folks have decided to split up into three Posses. Mike, of the South Texas Posse, has volunteered to coordinate between them, but feel free to contact the Posse nearest you, or all three! They all share the same website, Texas Posse Central . Check it out! Our thanks to Blaine and Scott for hosting this page.

The South Texas Posse

Mike and Mark are a committed, monogamous couple in the Houston area, and they're the coordinators for the South Texas Posse. Mike's starting out in PRCA team roping, and Mark likes to restore old cars. They've been joined by Joe and Jeff, Lance and Robert, and more are joining up all the time. This is probably the fastest-growing Posse of the bunch. They're looking to meet other regular guys who've got common interests, so if yer a cowboy in the Houston area or thereabouts or just a regular country-type who just happens to like guys, drop 'em a line! Contact the Texas Posse by emailing Mike at texasposse@hushmail.com or check out their website at http://www.powerbear.com/texasposse/east/

The North Texas Posse

Covering North Texas and some of southern Oklahoma, the North Texas Posse started out with Jimbo and Gary Lee, Pokey, Mac, and Blaine and Scott, and they've already been joined by several others. Mac is coordinator. We're looking forward to a lotta news from this bunch! Contact the North Texas Posse by emailing Mac at NorthTexasPosse@hushmail.com , or check their webpage at http://www.powerbear.com/texasposse/north/ .

The West Texas Posse

The new West Texas Posse covers the western part of the state, from the Big Bend and El Paso all the way up to Amarillo, Dumas, and Shamrock in the Panhandle. It sounds like quite a project to get men together in this huge area of ranches and oil fields, but they've always done a pretty good job of gettin' together anyway! Stepping up to coordinate this new posse addition is Bob, a down to earth, fun loving cowboy from Far West Texas. You can get in touch with him, and the West Texas Posse, at cowboyfwt@hushmail.com .
